The Jute industry has shown good growth in the last few years despite several negative factors like the decrease in global demand after pandemic. The upsurge in demand for products like Jute Shopping Bags by global retail giants LecLerc and Muji has been tremendous.

The Jute Products Development & Export Promotion Council (JPDEPC) is playing an important role in marketing and promoting jute and jute diversified products through various events and workshops.

It is my honour to head this Council and contribute to the growth of the jute industry.
